Fire Sprinkler Designer

Education:
- Associates or bachelors degree in drafting, engineering, mathematics (Preferred)
- Relevant industry experience.
Experience:
- 3 years minimum performing fire sprinkler design utilizing AutoCAD, REVIT, HASS, or other design software.
Certifications:
- NICET III Water-based systems layout (Preferred)

Fire Alarm Programmer/Technician

Responsibilities:
- Install and program new FA systems and devices.
- Support ‘parts & smarts’ installation of FA systems.
- Respond to routine service calls and emergency calls in a timely fashion.
- Solve complex technical problems using solid troubleshooting skills to isolate faults and make repairs.
- Assist with fire alarm inspection testing on an as needed basis.
- Maintain accurate and detailed service tickets using a tablet or laptop.
- Provide technical support and training to end users and internal colleagues when applicable.
- Present a professional image of Smith Fire Systems at all times and seek opportunities to promote services offered by our organization.
- Communicate and work in a positive manner with other team members consistently to improve overall operations within Smith Fire Systems.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
- Colleague must have exceptional customer service skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with basic hand tools, multi-meters, and power tools.

Physical Demands:
- Duties include the use of a ladder and will include climbing and working in high places.
- Position may require candidate to work in confined spaces.

Fire Alarm Service Technician

Responsibilities:
- Respond to routine service calls and emergency calls in a timely fashion.
- Solve complex technical problems using solid troubleshooting skills to isolate faults and make repairs.
- Must be able to identify and resolve basic to complex problems during service calls including emergency and after-hours calls and provide customers with appropriate solutions and complete necessary repairs and replacement of components as needed.
- Assist with fire alarm inspection testing on an as needed basis.
- Assist with small tenant improvement projects on an as needed basis.
- Maintain accurate and detailed service tickets using a tablet or laptop.
- Provide technical support and training to end users and internal colleagues when applicable.
- Present a professional image of Smith Fire Systems at all times and seek opportunities to promote services offered by our organization.

Inspection Lead

Responsibilities:
- Inspection, Testing & Maintenance of fire protection systems and equipment.
- Manage Tools and equipment necessary to complete assigned tasks.
- Manage job site and completion of assigned work in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent Customer Service.
- Work effectively with office staff to improve service delivery.
Qualifications for a successful candidate are:
- Excellent organization skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Ability to learn quickly and work both independently and as a part of a team.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office).
- Ability to Lift up to 90 lbs.
Certifications Required:

- Washington State Dept. of Health BAT License
- Washington State Dept. of Labor & Industries Specialty Plumbers License
- Seattle Certificate for AS-1, FA-1
Background:
